Oh, this sounds like a great group! I love the idea of setting monthly goals then being accountable. And your stuff sounds totally manageable–You can do it!!! I have THREE revision rounds to get done in May… ACK!

Don’t you just hate it when a great series gets cancelled. I haven’t heard of that author, I’ll have to check it out. That comic is hilarious. I have a habit of falling asleep in a movie that is just one big chase or a string of violent aggression. It’s now a family joke not to take mom to a movie because she’ll fall asleep if there is too much action. Weird, I know.

I feel like I keep taking breaks and keep giving myself a pass and keep taking days off so I don’t force it or whatever. So I’m starting to feel as though I need to stop cutting myself slack, dig in and get this thing done. And then I go and watch the next Buffy the Vampire Slayer episode on my netflix queue…

I up and went to Ireland when I was 21. With a red airplane trunk, a guitar (Martin), a bicycle, and the complete collection of Incredible String Band cassettes, Stayed for a year, the best and worst year of my life. Worked in a pub, sold handmade jewelry in the Dandelion Market, and lived at Glencree Cottage with a peculiar group of Irish kids with connections. One of them went on to work with U2.
Had a Volkswagon van called The Meerswenchen (which I was told was Dutch for guinea pig). I didn’t have insurance or a license but drove that thing all over the country. What a long strange trip it’s been.
